I discovered this recipe little by little while trying to make home made chow Mein.
Dice up cabbage, onion, and celery and place it in a large stainless steel bowl and set it in the fridge.
Cook boneless skinless chicken breast in a cast iron skillet with water, with the lid on. Turn it over when one side is done, and when that side is cooked, cut it on a cutting board into strips, and set it aside in a stainless steel bowl. Add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and pepper.
Dump the water from the pan and add one tablespoon of avocado oil and four ounces of water. Add the veggies and cook them with the lid on, after adding Italian seasoning and pepper.
When the veggies are soft, add the chicken and mix it together.
If you want, you can eat it like this, or cook two ounces of Garafolo whole wheat noodles and eat it like chow Mein.
This is very healthy and tasted great!
You can buy the Garafolo noodles from Costco
